They could use Land Rover UK's Continuity Person as they surely must have one... However else would they turn so much stuff out with exactly the same problems... Proud owner 110 Utility XS

Maybe he is just a hard-core LR fan and has 3 different Defenders?

There was a good reason for this.
The first Defender conked out between Hampshire and Nottingham and was replaced by Land Rover with a slightly different model which then collapsed on the M1 just 30 miles out of London (neither times when driven by me) The third made it to the end of the three weeks filming - hence the three different vehicles. As it happens I have my own Defender - a pick up 110. 1998 I think. It is my 6th Landrover and my favourite. I use it solely for going to and from - and on - my farm and fill it with anything and everything from logs, heavy machinery and tools to sheep. But I most certainly would not want to drive to Dundee and back in it on top of a 12 hour filming day! Monty Don |

I'm most touched at receiving a reply! Although I am a little disappointed in as much as I hoped eutek was correct in his guessing that you were a hard-core fan with three station wagons. That said, six Land Rovers to date is hard core enough in my book! Peter
