My 2011 defender is going in at the the be of the month for bulkhead and rear cross member paint! So I'd give it a go! If they say no, an hour with some sand paper and a few cans of paint will do the trick.

Sorry Just spoke to My Dealer and yeah popping down to take some pictures to send to LR Warrenty to get the all clear to get it in for a re paint on the X Member as only covered for 3 years from new and then the last 3 years is for body work only

Wish they'd paint my 14 year old one 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel.

they won't do mine...
there argument is the 6 year paint guarantee only covers bodywork... I've had a full new bulkhead as it was in the seam, roof spray the lot and its currently in having the window surround sprayed but won't do the cross member... |
