Waeco Mobicool Q40 AC/DC 40 Litre Thermoelectric Cool Box
Apologies, number of questions.

1. Appreciate there is a lot of site history regarding cool boxes. Just wondered if anyone had this specific model and whether they could recommend it, or is there something better for £120 quid. Appreciate compressor cool box's are the best, however, want to keep to around the £120 mark max. Use will be mainly for Wine, Water and Beer leaving the van fridge for food and ice. Looking at a 40l box. They all get mixed reviews, this one seemed to receive slightly better than most.
2. Looking for a 2 way splitter for ehu to van and awning. Those that use them do you always use a rcd between bollard and awning? (van already protected)
3. I am tight on gas bottle capacity for longish trips (2x3.9kg) and was considering an electric bq or grill (also to get good value from ehu). anyone used one and are they any good?

welcome all views, thanks

I have one of these coolers albeit badged as own brand with Halfords. Bought around 4 years ago and still going strong. Sadly they do not still sell this model. Absolutely fine for short use (if running off car power, fine if off mains) in temperate climes. Big enough to hold stuff for a family and useful to have split lid. Struggles in really warm weather but good value for money and sensible size.

I can't afford £600+ for occasional fridge.

What are thoughts on these as an alternative?
