"Land Rover owners in Hinckley and Bosworth are being warned to be vigilant after a spate of thefts in the county.
In recent weeks several of the vehicles have been stolen, taken to remote locations and stripped of all valuable parts.
It appears a professional gang is at work with the expertise to get around the car’s security systems and quickly remove its component parts.
Those who own Land Rovers are asked to take extra precautions to safeguard their car and, as it is likely the vehicles are being identified in advance, to look out for strangers paying particular attention to their property or vehicle."
