Self-Employed Mortgage for Let Property
Anyone have first hand experience of a good morgage provider who will lend to someone self-employed to remortgage a let property (i.e. buy-to-let mortgage)?

Without being rude or ungrateful, I don't mean someone saying "try X Building Society". I am after someone who is self-employed and gone through the same scenario recently and can say "Yes, this is who I used and they were great".

Current it seems if you mention being a Company-Director/self-employed they automatically think you're a builder on 1-days notice and virtually hang-up. Despite earning more than when I was employed and being on a months notice (like when a permy).

Thanks Harvey

you need a decent financial advisor who is not tied to a particular company.

As long as you have plenty of equity (more than 40%)there are deals to be had.
