Congrats to your boys on winning the U20 World Cup. We were there in Calvisano, watching them play against Argentina (before my lot played Wales) and my boy was helping his little Italian mate get autographs. They went up to some of your team and my kid asked them to say the word "Egg".
The biggest player said "Excuse me?"
My lad repeated "Would you please say the word Egg?"
The guy grinned and said "Igg"
My boy said, "Okay, you're really from New Zealand" and they all burst out laughing and made friends. For real! Really good bunch of guys.

My loyalties were very divided for the U20s - like you I'm an ex-pat Pomme! I've lived here for 17 years but still talk like a Yorkshire lad (but not a very broad one). The kiwi accent still cracks me up - who wouldn't snigger when a workmate tells you he'll be "staining his dick" at the weekend?

We've just had the U20 Football world cup over here and I took my boy to see the final. Didn't get any autographs but we did have a great time.

Oh yeah, sorry mate, of course you'd posted all of those beautiful photos in the scenic shots thread.

I don't like the idea of somebody "staining their dick". I don't think I'd want to be around when that was happening. And watch out if they offer to let you see photos of them doing that job, or things could get quite uncomfortable.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I was up in the mountains in the 110.

I have an agreement to drive it back to the UK and leave it with a really good independent Landy specialist, so while I still have the Landy, it's not really up for grabs any longer.
