2006 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Zambezi Silver
Production Process
Hi all

My dealer has let me know the production process today for the Celebration Models.

All Autobiography models are built down the line as Santorini XS SW and are then sent to SVO to be dismantled, rebuilt and repainted...seems very involved!

The other two are put down the line as' regular' models as such due to the volume. 2016 Defender Adventure 110
2015 Defender Autobiography 90
2016 Defender V8 Classic Works 90
2020 Defender 110 P400 X

The same as USW, they are built with windows in the rears and driven round to SVO to have the windows removed and blanks put in.

Or there were at least when mine was built Russell

Not quite correct unfortunately...

(And USW's are now 100% production line standard now! No changes after the line Thumbs Up ) An engine to TDi for!

I have ordered an Autobiography and am following this forum for a few weeks now. Does anyone have an idea re delivery dates for the ABs?
