touching up scratches in paint
Just noticed on the bonnet(black) some narrow deep scratches with the undercoat showing!I have looked on the web and their appear different methods for dealing with this ...........Any picassos on her willing to share their insights?..Im not after perfection but i would like to do a reasonable job and stop the rust before it starts!

I have tried touch up sticks in the past but i cannot get it flush with the original paint!

The guy who professionally detailed my defender said forget the touch up sticks and go to your local car paint shop and to your colour solvent based paint mix it 50/50 with Cellulose Laquer.

I'll email him and find out exactly what it involves and let you know.
