| Five charged in connection with thefts in Lower Halstow | |
Five men are due to appear at crown court later this month charged in connection with the theft of Land Rovers in Lower Halstow.
Kent Police received a report at 11.30pm on Monday 4 May of an attempted theft of a blue Land Rover from an address in Burntwick Drive. A white Land Rover Defender was also suspected missing on the same night from a property in Breach Lane. Detectives investigating the reports have arrested and charged five men with conspiracy to steal.
Jamie Ceballos, 32, of Pier Road in Gillingham, and William Bevan, 29, of Fourth Avenue in Gillingham, were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 29 May.
Martin Ward, 41, of Whyman Avenue in Chatham, Jonathon Delaney, 19, of Barnora Crescent, County Tiperary in Ireland, and Johnylee Joe Eastwood, 20, of Elm Road, Basildon in Essex, have been bailed to attend the same court on 29 May.
