Brownchurch - simple & lightweight RTT option
In my quest to avoid the huge weight and cost of most of today's roof tents, I ended up buying a second hand Brownchurch tent. Very light (put it onto the roof rack with one hand), a matter of seconds to put up or down, and much much cheaper than everything else I looked at. If you prefer this years (decades?) colours with built-in extension rooms able to withstand tropical storms this is probably not for you but it works for me!

How do they compare pricewise to the other makes?

unfortunately Brownchurch stopped making them, so you can't buy new, but you can get second hand for less than €200.
