As a follow up, these gaps have been sealed under warranty, but only after it being raised with LR.

All new build 90s I have seen are the same, but I am the only one who sees it as a problem? Confused  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

I have had two 90's in the past 15 years and they both had the same gap so it is nothing new. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.
