Do you mean the full removal of the bulkhead?
Mudstuf sell a partial bulkhead removal bar, which alows a bit of extra rear movement on the seats, but you dont loose the bulkhead completely. http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/bulkhead-removal-bar.html Easier to fit aswel. Marc |

Mine came with the factory bar - and I love it. If it's just about adjusting the seat though - I'd buy some spacers and try raising it :
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&...1400291143 M8 x 25 - fit the standard spacer washer from the front on the back - so you have the spacer and two washers at the back and just the spacer at the front. You want some longer M8 button head bolts - maybe M8 x 40 (can't quite remember!?). All in it'll cost you about £8 to find out. |

I had the bulkhead removed in the wife's 90 so I could fit in it and had a bar put in, best move I made to be honest. Lots more legroom for me and comfort when i'm driving and I think it looks better that way too.

think you can get a top capping that fits on when you drop the top of the bulkhead down without removing bulkhead completely
when I done mine on a 200tdi I just dropped the bulkhead down behind the drivers seat and made a bit of capping and left the rest of it as standard , and made a big diffirence to drivers seat |

Did mine last year, great modification, I hardy notice less bulkhead as It's quite discreet.
If you're competent It's an easy enough mod, worse bit is the riveting! there's about 25 of the gits Makes a small difference to seat adjustment, goes back about another inch and backrest reclines much further ....although i did make a set of seat risers for mine, great improvement. If you fit the bulkhead bar you'd be better off with seat risers too. Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |
