I don't know if you want to include this autojumble in your list but it seems to be gaining quite a following especially as it is right at the start of the year, Sunday 11th January. I'm not connected to Woodward but this has got me some bargains over the last couple of years and it seems that the traders are using it as a taster for the rest of the year regarding their prices.

So which of these events is the "best" one to go to? I realise "best " has many definitions however I would like to get the Defender along to at least one event this year and quite like the idea of a road trip for a couple of days.
Which one is the most popular in terms of forum people attending or exhibitors / sponsors showing their latest and greatest? Same kind of distance to travel as you so just go to Peterborough for the duration. Excellent camping and the company is excellent

Peterborough sounds like a plan Steve. If there are no other suggestions then that would be the winner. ,!! 2002 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Oslo Blue

The closest event to Scotland will be the Land Rover Spring Adventure in May
The best UK event is probably the LRO Peterborough show in September with about 10-12,000 visitors The best event on that list in my opinion is the Bad Kissingen event in June. This event has about 55,000 visitors and 200+ exhibitors. OK not strictly a Land Rover event but has many interesting vehicles, lots of exhibitors who you do not see at UK events. The Bad Kissingen event is an extremely civilised event, and extremely well run. Well worth going too if you get half a chance. Brendan |
