Probably not. We could speculate all day as to what it may or may not be. When it slowed to a crawl did you initiate this or was it in limp mode? There are numerous 'nuisance codes' P1103 being the most common that will appear, put a MIL (engine management light) on and then automatically reset after a few driving cycles. Buy yourself a cheap, proven fault reader perhaps like a Scangauge II and at least you'll have a vague idea what it is your dealing with?
If it did go into limp mode get to your dealer/independant or get your reader sooner rather than later. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
