Rog,

I hope it's been your decision to withdraw from the deal, not Land Rover pulling the rug from under you? Shocked

HaHa, not exactly my decision Paul, no... Whistle

Seems they have sort of cut off my nose, to spite my face, for me, rather than just pulled the rug... Embarassed

Is this the dealer we are talking about or Land Rover themselves, either way it seems pretty poor behaviour.

The questions you, I and many others raised were perfectly valid, perhaps if there had been more clarity from Land Rover in the first place we wouldn't have had to ask.

What are your plans now Rog, is a keswick green, air conditioned 90SW XS with as many options as you would like on the cards? Smile

My dealer informed me she was cancelling my order following correspondence, requesting they return my deposit, she received from JLR Executive Office... Whistle

Resulting from my frustrations boiling over and threatening to cut off my nose for the proverbial and having no choice but to request my deposit be returned... Mr. Green

I think I'll just go buy a ToyMotor... Thumbs Up

I can additionally confirm the full and final specifications for the UK market for each derivative.

The Heritage Edition will not feature Aircon, however this will be standard on the Adventure and Autobiography models.

Additionally, the Heritage Edition will not feature a radio, however this will be standard on the Adventure and an upgraded version on the Autobiography.

Many thanks,
Pete

Pete given that the UK press demo version vehicle has both of these features fitted, plus alpine windows, has there been a change of heart on the final specification?

Hi all

The vehicles in question were released early with the intention to be used as press vehicles and as development models were not the full and final UK specifications. As such, the vehicles featured are not standard production models.

Regards

Ryan

Hi Ryan
I still can't understand how we can't get the Aircon option when in other countries there getting Sunroof and Aircon

Just charge us the list add on price. It really makes no sense at all.

I would gladly pay the extra money to have it as an option.

Please have a further chat with them upstairs or downstairs.

many thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

Thank you for your post.

Vehicle options are market dependent and the two features that you are referring to are not featured on the UK Defender.

All available options have now been finalised prior to order and build, as such, this is not something that will be amended or offered for the 16MY Defender.

Regards

Ryan
