300tdi expansion tank cap
Hello,

My Defender 300tdi had a new bleed pipe hose (the Y one to the expansion tank) replaced in January. I noticed a small leak at the plastic junction last month, and then a week ago the thing busted....

My mechanic said it was a defective unit and replaced it with an original one.
My question is, could this be related to a problem with the expansion tank cap?

If so, how do I see if the cap has problems?
