How much are side steps worth?
Hi all sorry if this isn't allowed and admin please delete if so, in taking delivery of my my15 XS 90 on Thursday and I only found out yesterday that it's coming with side steps as standard. I personally don't like the steps on offer so I will be removing them as soon as I get home and putting them for sale, but I don't know how much for? They are a £569 extra from Land Rover but I'm Unsure as to how much they'd be worth as a new take off to anyone? Any ideas please?
Thanks! 2009 Defender County Hard Top (gone 😞)

trouble will be they might be £569 added extra from land rover , but your find the same ones avaiable to buy aftermarket for £150-£200 new

so you might be disappointed in what there worth

ok thanks I thought 569 is an absolute joke to be honest lol, stick em up for £200 a fair price you think? I don't wanna let them go for pennies but I don't want to be stuck with them for weeks either cos I'm asking too much if you see what I mean Laughing thanks for the reply! 2009 Defender County Hard Top (gone 😞)

What I do is do a search on eBay for sold items. You will get some that have gone for a lot of money and some that have gone for nothing, but the rest should give you an idea of what people are paying.

Have no idea on what they are worth, however consider if collection only (possible limit your market) or if you are prepared to send them out courier or not.

To get an accurate courier quote you need weight and dimensions of boxes, plus post code at each end of journey. Go over 1.5m and hit a surcharge, go over 20 kg hit another surcharge

Big Dave at MD Couriers will be a good place to start. He is a site sponsor on disco3.co.uk.
