Alive springs and loading
Does anybody on here with Alive Comfort Springs carry heavy loads or tow a lot? My 110 spends a lot of time loaded up and/or towing, so I don't want to ruin its excellent performance in thar area. V8 90...WIP

I have these springs. Still all loaded with horse trailer the defender is better than standard. Handle the road and much more comfort.

Is this using std shockers with the Alive springs? Time is precious, waste it wisely...

For me no. I fit the Bilstein B6 recommendation from Alive. In first instance just springs and also big improvements but I did never tow with that so can not comment.

Do you like the b6 dampers or are they quite firm/crashy

Also the bilstein steering damper a great improvement. To complete package take spacers or et0 wheels. Drive like saloon with extraordinary off road and tow capacity.

I have the Alive springs and Bilstein B6 shocks fitted to me 110. When I rang Alive I asked the same question and was told that they have the same load rating as standard springs. The ride is better than standard and towing the caravan with a load of gear in and on top of the 110 is a lot better than standard set up. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.
