Whilst both very correct (although i would choose standard hammerite in there (external and clamps done waxoyl) and the second battery is a little down the line after the last finance hammering!
No i was thinking more concerning factory fitted bit - the clamp that holds the battery down!! thats 3 factory missing bits! - unless anyone tells me there is a new way of clamping it down. Mike |

Is it loose then?
IIRC does it not clamp on the lip on the bottom of the battery and not over the top like the old ones? BTW I personally gave up using using Smoothrite yonks ago, it's too brittle and liable to chip. |

Hammerite is great stuff - ive used it for loads works really well - but application is key (ish). Mike |

The clamps can be seen in the photo and are held with the 2No extra long screws
