I always tell SWMBO that i'm buying something then she finds something for me to buy her. Shocked Shocked
I always get whatever I've bought delivered to the office though.

Not me but the best one ive had was a bloke buying a boat I sold.
He came to see it on his own and liked it, agreed a price all well and paid half the money cash.
Came back the weekend with the family. (he'd text me in the meantime) Then in front of them haggled the price down to the remaining half which the wife paid . Im guessing from the family account Laughing

All were happy and kept me amused Thumbs Up

I think the best way around this is to buy a 90 & a 110 tell the Mrs the 90 is hers and you have the 110. The only thing is you have the 110 for work but she catches the bus LOL! Use the 90 for weekend journeys but you drive anyway! Come to buy something for the 110 and say if we buy two we'll get a discount, sorted 90 & 110 mint!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

No issues like this here.
We've always combined our incomes, & usually discuss any "larger" items that either of us might want.
Always discuss the car stuff with Wifey, & she normally agrees. In turn, if she wants to buy some "Girlie" stuff or dress or whatever,..no issues from me.
Basically, we just "share" everything,...so no money dramas at all.

Personally I have the opposite problem as my wife is a bit of a Diesel/Petrol head. Usually she or I see something and before I know it it is either ordered or she is phoning Brendan (she has his number listed on her mobile) ordering the bits.
I think I am a lucky man in that respect. Mr. Green
