Depending on how long I will be stuck in a couple of hire vans, these would be ideal temp tool storage boxes. I should find out later today what the delivery time is on the new vans. If its a long time I will be in touch. 130's have feeling's as well you know

Is there a seal between the two halves or is it just plastic on plastic (male/female profile)? When you describe them as watertight does that mean contents will stay dry outside on the rain (roofrack for example) or are they actually waterproof? Would the seal as it stands keep out water under pressure and/or dust?

There is a rubber seal between the top and lower half, as there is an equalisation valve fitted they will definitely be water tight and reasonably air tight. This is used after air travel to allow you to open it if there is negative pressure inside not allowing you to open it. 90 300 TDI SW (sold)
