Riv nuts on mine(rivnuts are posh blind rivets which are threaded to allow bolts to fit into enclosed spaces like the crossmember...sorry if this is granny and eggs thing) if its a 90!..no nuts just three bolts soak in penetrating oil and remove...carefully! put lots of grease into rivnut before you refit!

Thanks nitram - I should have guessed it would be rivnuts as the void was inaccessible.

Buy a pair of galvanised rear mud flap brackets and spray them black with Hammerite satin black, never have to worry about flaking paint or rusting again For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
