You can run a wire from the live feed inside the door round the rubber seal and into the brake lamp and no one will ever know. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Even the 'Landyglass' replacement wire runs up the rubber......You can get a replacement LED light off them too! Thumbs Up

"The slim line led brake light and wires runs inside rubber
available at extra cost in online shop"

I thought someone here would know! thanks Very Happy Being that I was on this occasion winding the lease up on the Puma I let them fit the window. I asked them about rewiring and they said, " If it was that easy they would be doing it." Seems dealers the world over are exactly the same! Rolling with laughter Paid out of lease and now Very Happy warranty, freedom at last.

The stealer in Perth changed my window for exactly the same reason. Probably takes too long to change the globe or rewire I suppose.
