FIVE ANTHRACITE ZU RIMS FITTED WITH BFG AT 265/75x16 FOR SALE
Wheels are in good condition (these have NOT been heavily off-roaded), there are some marks but these are almost exclusively on the inside and not visible when fitted. These include some scratches and/or paint bubbles. NOTE:- These are genuine ZU and NOT Challenger or other cheap copies. Tyres are aging rather than just wearing out. I have measured the tread depth at the centre of each tyre (where it is at the minimum), it gets slightly deeper away from this line. 6mm, 5mm, 4mm, 3mm & 3mm. Obviously all wheels are correctly balanced. Don't forget, ZU rims fit any hub with the standard Series, 90/110/130, Defender, Disco 1 & RRC stud pattern, this is regardless of whether you have drum or disc brakes. They also have one of the highest load ratings at 1400KG each. Asking for Ł500 ONO for the set of five. Collection only from MK43 (Beds), 5-miles from M1 jcn's 13 or 14. PM me if interested or if you have any questions. Reason for sale? Just taken delivery of five Anthracite Sawtooth fitted with 265/75x16 Cooper ST Maxx. Spec shown below is from ZU own website. 11mm offset. 1400kg rating. 10.4kg each. TüV approved and meets or exceeds UK - European - U.S.- Canadian - Australian - South African and Japanese wheel manufacturing specifications. Uses standard Land Rover alloy wheel nuts. Easy to balance. Fits all Defenders, Discovery I and Range Rover Classic. Manufactured in the UK. I had an arrangement to purchase these from Alan not long after I had PM'd him on March 29th.
I was very clear in pointing out to him, that I was away on business for the week and had limited access to the board until my return on April 3rd.I would not be able to complete the transaction until then. (at which point he did not raise any issue with the process or timing). We did exchange emails during that period, he sent me additional photos of the wheels, in which I confirmed, that yes, they were exactly as described and I was fine with the purchase. I also informed him I was working on the pick up and shipping arrangements on my end which would be finalized on my return. Now that I am back from my trip I can complete the transaction as agreed. Then I receive a PM saying that "Tyres have now gone I'm afraid" Alan, in future, please deal in good faith and communicate openly if you have any issues or concerns with a transaction. Don't agree to sell to one person, then sell to another. |

There is a set of Mach 5 ( Matt lee ) wheels for sale on the bay , these may be of use or interest to someone possibly???
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Matt-Lee-Mach-5-...234e2ad5fb Also a set of 4 Zu wheels , but looking at the pictures a refurb would most likely be in order... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-ZU-wheels-16...4193bc1ff6 Cheers. Nick. "Procrastination is the thief of time" |

The 'real McCoy' Mach 5s would be my choice.....in fact it has been twice! Great wheel made of steel, resilient and cheap to refurbish. The E-Bay ones won't be around for long as they are no longer available and quite sought after, full set of five too. They are the same era as mine early ones with the round centres not the latter shaped ones with the slightly flared spokes.
