I know that behind this may be a contentious subject, the Land Rover belongs to an Anti-Hunt Group but if you read the report there's quite a misnomer from one of the anti's making you wonder why they do what they do...........
"Hunt saboteurs spend their time disrupting the lawful activity of many hunts and shoots. I don't see why we should be a particular focus of their enquiries." Read more: http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/Croydon...z3UiysQQS8 Follow us: @CroydonAd on Twitter | croydonadvertiser on Facebook |

I'm wondering if you'd write off those tyres given how flat they are - maybe there's a chance of sidewall /carcass damage. That and a flatbed truck to the tyre shop won't leave much change from a few hundred.

mobile tyre van , wheel off , break one bead , cut old valve out , fit new valve , blow up, fit wheel , 5-10 min job
if the vans already out on jobs 50 quid job done as long as you don't drive it , its much the same as coming out in the morning to a nail in tyre and sitting flat overnight , repair blow up and check it |

That quote is attributed to one Geoff Stovold, who is secretary of the Old Surrey, Burstow and West Kent hunt, not to an 'anti'. Mr Stovold seems to be objecting to the enquiry's focus on the hunt, by suggesting that since the hunt's activities are legal, yet are disrupted by the 'antis', then inflicting criminal damage to a vehicle used by the 'antis' is somehow morally justified. This, it seems to me, rather surrenders the moral high ground. |
