Currently sat in the travel lodge around the corner from billing, playing the good old game of guess who's going to billing.

Went this morning, set off from South Yorks at 7:00am and got there at 8:30am and was able to drive straight in without any signs of a queue
My first visit to Billing and, to be honest, I didnt think it was that good. Perhaps I expected it to be much bigger. I left around midday and as I drove back along the A45 the traffic was queuing back for about 2 miles Worth getting there early if anyone is planning on going tomorrow. |

Well I will agree with you there. I first went 2 years ago and it was brilliant. This year I felt the show was lacking the atmosphere and the land rover gear shop was pitiful. I did enjoy meeting some of you and learnt a lot from Bfrenden. Cheers for the advise.

I always find walking around Billing a little like being surrounded by the extras from the film Deliverance........
Peterborough is better. |

Not much to see, but then I didnt realise till I got home that there was probably an off-road course to play on or watch.
There is a definate lack of information anywhere about the programme of events. Surprised to see/hear so many foreign enthusiasts at the show, I think I heard Germans and Polish? But I could have been mistaken. Is the Driffield show any better/worse? |
