It does on mine. If I'm in high and roll forward the revs rise.

Rev rise indicates that ecm senses that you've engaged low range not high..

Double checked mine today and no rev rise when in high range and rolling forward or backward slowly in neutral main box.
Repeat in low range and the idle rises to just over 1k. Mine's a 12MY.

Mine raises the idle in low and when putting it in high the revs drop instantly. The revs definitely rise in high when rolling too Question 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
