Thanks Ray Thumbs Up

I was a work when I posted that, So testing this out will have to wait until Monday, I've moved the connector to the engine bay now so should be easier.

Just seen this thread - don't know how I missed it before.

BBUS AMR4971 was only ever used in the P38RR, and will use a different signalling method between the control unit and the BBUS

AMR4974 was the one that was fitted to the Defender and also to the Disco1.
This been superseded several times and the one currently available is LR044570, the part number history is:

AMR4974 fitted to 1996-1998
YWK100130 fitted 1999-2007
YWK100131 fitted 2007
LR012194 fitted 2008
LR014059 fitted 2009-2012
LR044570 - latest
Dates are approximate.

So any BBUS with an AMR part number is going to be at least 17 years old - don't think I'd trust the battery on one that old.

So YWK100130 is the one for my 2005? Will the latest version work on an TD5
Thank you for your advice.

YWK100130 is the one that would have been fitted (if specified) in production, all the part numbers in the list now supersede to LR044570 i.e. that should work in place of any in the list.

If it was fitted in production, my vehicle should have had LR014059 - I fitted LR044570 and it works fine.
