Following on from the post earlier.
If anyone fancies an easy simple non-damaging morning in the Peaks on Sunday, put your name down. As per GLASS Conduct, just 4 vehicles in total, so first 3 people to join up. It will have to be an early start for me, so say 9am start from Morrisons Car Park in Buxton. (Google Map: https://goo.gl/maps/HSYKF) All the lanes will be easy and won't be very challenging all checked with Trailwise to ensure the route has no TRO or closures. The route will finish on the epic Houndkirk Moor which although a bit rocky is fine in a standard Defender with care. There might be the odd low tree, but nothing scratchy, but you will get to use your Low Range and maybe even your Diff Lock. Everything will be a nice slow pace too! Disclaimer! Although I'm happy to show you the route, I'm no leader! Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

I don't usually pre-plan but just get up and go if I feel like, but sure, happy to organise some more. Craig Rogers

We'll have to be extra careful not to scratch your new toy!
I'm guessing you don't have a CB fitted but I have 3 VHF hand helds I can bring if not. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

I'd love to come along but my son and I are going to rugby at Warrington Wolves. Thanks anyway. Hopefully I'll come a long if you do it again. Cheers

No never got round to purchasing a CB, so loan of a hand held would be appreciated.
Which part of the peaks are you planning to visit? Just so I can dig my maps out 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

Was thinking Dove Holes across to Houndkirk Moor, so it would be half way between both White and Dark maps (1:25K).
As I mentioned, nothing where we'd have to push through any bush or crawl over big rocks, but was thinking of going up Hawkhill Road in Eyam which can be a little tight through the trees (mainly in the summer though), but we can miss that one out if you don't fancy it Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

Looks like there might be a bit of falling water around on Sunday, so we'll get that shinny box dirty!
Can we tempt anyone else to come and join us? Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

For some bizarre reason I'm feeling the temptation to run a sponge over her in the morning! 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

I have to as I want to fit the Glyn Lewis Mud Sheilds tomorrow before Sunday, so need to clean out under the wheel arches, so may as well give it a wash.
Personally, I don't think there's anything better than a shiny clean Defender with mud splashes. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |
