blown fuse?
Hi all...

just arrived back from the caribbean earlier this morning, jet lagged etc.

defender started first time no problem, stereo and light bar don't seem to be working anymore? maybe a fuse went? i have a new clarion head unit to fit but was just wondering if anyone has ideas on if a simple fuse could of gone?

pretty sure they are on a complete different loop as i used the light force wiring kit for my led bar

Back to your problem. I have fitted a new HU and a genuine LR driving light loom on the Tdci. After fitting everything I found that switching the AUX lights off sometimes caused switch illumination etc to turn off. After a few hours of checking I found the aux light switch was arcing and this caused the problems. Cleaned the switch with contact cleaner and problem has gone.

May be worth looking at ?

Don't overcomplicate it by trying to relate the two issues. I would try and sort the lights first and see what comes out in the wash. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
