200 odd views and no replies?
Right picking up my New Defender next week, but intend on keeping my old one. I've got 5 years no claims on my old one fully comp and business use currently costs about £280 odd. To insure my new one with the same company I'd be starting off at zero no claims discount and would cost £970 however if I switch my no claims to the new one and start off a fresh policy for my old one. One will be 549 and one 595. Someone else must be in a similar position, how's best to insure 2 vehicles? |

I insure through nfu and they seem to take into account the no claims on all the vehicles I own. My wife's car is insured with direct line and if I wanted to insure through them they take this into account as well. It sounds like it may be worth shopping about

You want a policy with Mirrored No Claims Bonus for two vehicles; any good broker will arrange that for you and is probably the cheapest option. I have this type of policy for my two Defenders. The only problem you may have is that your existing vehicle will have a different date of insurance expiry than the start of your insurance for the second vehicle that is assuming your original vehicle is insured at present. But again a broker will advise on this. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Admiral multi-car policy. Never had it so good, TBH.
They even threw in 10 years NCD as an introductory bonus on the Landy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 Defender 90 Toyota Aygo & Honda FR-V |

They have been great while I've had two defenders. They just charge the same for each one with full ncd Worked out just over £300 each fully comp with work and domestic use |
