If the ram had been 4 wheel drive the defender trans would have been in bits on the floor

Have to say, the cummins ram is a absolutely epic piece of kit.

The new ones are 6.7L and some are rated to tow up to 30000lb (13T+) using a fifth wheel setup

If I lived in the states id have a v8 NAS 90 and a 6.7td 2500 RAM 4door for the 'utility' side of things.

The yanks call them the 'million mile truck' so simple and reliable are they, proper old fashioned barn door style engineering... Cheers, David

Don't know why the RAM didn't have 4wd engaged, and there's no doubt which would win if it had more road biased tyres and 4wd in.

Love my defender though, don't get me wrong! Cheers, David

Sorry Willy, that must be about the fourth time that a link to that video of a tug of war between a Dodge Ram and a Defender has been posted here.
