Blackvue AV
Any of you got a Blackvue's front and rear cam?
Does the rear cam have any AV out on it?

Reason I'm asking is if I went for a Blackvue. (I know they aren't cheap)
It'd be a nice extra to have the rear cam hooked up to my HU screen as a rear view cam or more useful to me whilst towing to keep an eye on what's happening back there.

Not really interested in any other makes as they can be hit and miss.

Isn't it illegal to have the head unit screen on while driving?

No its fine. My camera in the Motorhome is used whilst driving as I can't see out of the back. It's not on the HU, but it's the same thing. Also my Evoque's wrap around camera system works when driving, that's what it's there for.

It's only a TV or Media Video feed that's not allowed. Craig Rogers

Indeed, a DVD or something like that isn't legal but a camera is.
Hence horsebox cameras etc.
Much the same as a sat nav it's there for a glimpse but not to watch as such obviously.
A passenger can however.

Dual-View screen is one of the best inventions ever! Sometimes we argue who "isnt" going to drive. Craig Rogers

My Blackview keeps falling off, can anyone recommend the best adhesive?

I wish you lot would stop suggesting ways to spend my pension. Laughing

Having looked at the Blackvue web site I am rather taken with this http://www.blackvuehd.co.uk/Blackvue_DR750LW_2CH.php but how do you power the rear camera?

It would save arguments when hitching up the tin tent. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

You can get a video sender that links the tin tent to the Defender. I got mine from http://shop.reversingcamerasuk.com/ I power the receiver from the live feed in the load area on the off side.
