1999 Defender 110 Td5 SW Caledonian Blue

Wifi over distance

A mate is after a Wifi setup to cover about 5mile LOS between two hills
He is out of range for Wifi from another source(No landline within distance), but a mate across the valley has Wifi via landline.
He has the height available to him so thats not an issue

So his plan was to setup a link between the two houses.

Is this possible (the distance that is)? 1999 Defender TD5 110
