True but homologation changes with model years. LR knows the limits of the current car. Something between the 240-280bhp works great in a Defender. Doubt anyone at Solihull would sign off much bigger HP numbers on a live axle chassis. IMO. m |

If it is really going to happen, I think a forum sponsor knows the most about it as he is helping build it!!

If if was happening that sponsor would have been told not to say anything about it, and I'm sure he has not. What I do find strange though is that Twisted have said something about it. 130's have feeling's as well you know

Much as I wish it were true, the whole concept of a V8 2015 seems totally and utterly implausible to me. LR have just announced three celebration editions to mark the end of Defender production and their dealers have accepted deposits on hundreds, even thousands, of customer orders . . . there would be a massive customer and dealer backlash if they suddenly launched another "final, final, final edition."
Sorry, but I think we're . . . done. Nick 2015 Defender 90 Heritage edition on order |

Agree. I think we're done. It would be terrible PR to release another edition after all the success and moans from the existing 3.
Edit to add: LR refer in their Celebration Series brochure to the Adventurer Edition seats being embossed 'FINAL EDITION'. They therefore can't release a 'Final Final Edition.' |

Good French.
I like this very much. But let's be honest, we all love an Orange Defender, don't we? Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Someone has probably opened a container and found a load of the original Discovery 3.9 V8's, what a lovely engine that was, and decided that JLR need to sell them. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

There appears to be more than that page. How would one find & copy the whole document? Regards, Pickles. |
