What a :censored:
Well Sunday night was one to remember.

We were all in Chester as we had training early Monday morning.

Parked the vans close together in the hotel car park to stop the scallys getting into the side doors.

An hour after parking up the vehicles, one of the big vans (8 months old) decided to set fire to itself.

When the fuel tank melted the fire spread to the second van.

Both vans and all the kit has gone Confused

Trumpton said vehicle fault, hotel cctv footage showed no one went anywhere the vehicles, footage showed smoke coming from drivers front wheel arch.
Everything is insured so no major issues apart from paperwork and ordering new kit asap.

Got to drive around in hire vans until the new ones arrive Big Cry

Oh poo. Bad luck.

Any comeback or thoughts about manufacture of vans and problem with the van?

OMG...
it would surely be bad enough to lose one, but two together in the same instant is really bad form... Shocked

At least it was not arson and you will, eventually get the mess sorted, but even hire vans are not going to provide the gear you lost to get back to normal in a hurry... Rolling Eyes

Hope you have normality return soon... Thumbs Up

Good luck with sorting this out.

Hopefully you do not lose too much business/money over this.

One of the problems with tool kits are those special widgets you have made to do that special job once in a blue moon. Only miss it when that once in a while job occurs.

Good luck
