Hi folks
I really love the red and yellow bands on the gear sticks of the Heritage model Land Rover. Its a really nice touch and reminds me of the old Series III I used to drive. I'd love to get them for my current TDCI. Anybody know if they will be available, what exactly they are and whether something similar could be fabricated? Cheers Alan |

I have it on very good authority that is a normal sized blanking plate for a single din unit, unfortunately...

Apparently not Angus...
And I am still waiting to hear whether one can be ordered as a factory fit extra, but general consensus is not... WYSIWYG seems to be the mantra with Celebration LEs... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

Slightly off topic but does the LE heritage not even come with a radio!? I have had it confirmed that i have a 110 slot but the no air con was a worry and no radio is definitely an issue!

The no Air/con will have a factor on resale no doubt.
The stereo is an easy fix as the fittings will be behind the single slot if it doesn't come with one. The Gear knobs look Great I'm still looking forward to getting mine even without the A/C |

Hi Steve,
I don't think the lack of air con will have an impact on residual values for the heritage, I think most people will want a heritage edition because of all the other features it has and what it represents (being one of only 400 made). My dealer told me that he is still getting enquiries every day and reckons he could have sold my car over 30 times so there is clearly a huge demand for the heritage. I think the only way that lack of air con could impact values would be if Land Rover made air con available as an option and then those cars ordered without it would certainly be worth less in my opinion Cheers Paul |

Click image to enlarge Courtesy of my local postman - he even had the even rarer limited edition Keswick Green Band  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
