2.2 3rd service

Can somebody please tell me what the 3rd service on a 2.2 puma consists of.

It's the A service plus:

Check/adjust steering box
Check security of engine & transmission mounting rubbers

Have been quoted £389.00 inc vat. Seems a lot for basically an oil & filter change,a bottle of Redex and a look round vehicle. Main dealers,but don't really need this time as warranty nearly out,will probably use independent instead.

3 years = end of warranty period

any free mechanic would do it for half the price.
Despite the fact that warranty only depends on the quality of the service.
Not on LR-authorized mechanics any more.

I'm only going main dealer on the 3rd service if I need some items replaced under warranty such as mud flap brackets or side steps.
so far all is good with these items.

otherwise it's back to Promec in Llantrisant for me.

I second Promec, had good service over the years on my other vehicles not as yet taken my current Defender to them yet
