I bought the jacket new and I have washed it a couple of times and worn it only a handful. I have a thing for Ventile, I love the simplicity and its effectiveness. I like the fact that it doesn't rely on membranes, liners and coatings to be waterproof. It's a totally natural solution to staying dry! It's in excellent condition with no rips, or damage whatsoever. It's a size 5 which in military terms means that it will fit a 6 ft to 6 ft 2 inch bloke with a 40-44 inch chest. It's totally wind proof so even if it's not raining it keeps you warm. It's a great smock that is entirely in keeping with Defender way of life. It's navy blue in colour. So if it's so good why am I selling it? Simple, I have too many items of clothing made of Ventile and I need to thin them out a bit!
Looking for £160 posted. These things regularly sell for over £200 on eBay and they are nearly always ripped or damaged.
