2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Fuji White

Puma wipac led upgrade issue

Hi all, I have fitted the 10 piece led upgrade kit to my puma with the new relay that's included in the kit. I think I have a issue with the new relay, because it is exceptionally quiet, occasionally clicks at random, and the indicators occasionally stick on constant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Must be a faulty relay I have the Wipac one in my 130 no issues.

Thanks very much, that is what I suspected but just wanted to see if there was anything obvious.

As above, I have theirs bought by others recommendations and it works absolutely perfectly.
Yes, the relay click is slightly quieter than standard on all of them but nothing to bad.

Could be used as a excuse to fully soundproof your Defender to the OH for safety's sake.

The LED lights are good fully waterproof very bright and come with stainless screws and are terrific value for money. I have had them fitted for over a year and had no problems. However the flasher relay that comes with them is not great, some people have found the relay works fine others have found problems with it. In my opinion the Wipac LED lights set coupled with the RDX relay as above is the best of both worlds. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Thanks very much for all your help everyone. Great to witness such a helpful forum. The wipac kit is great, and I'm very very happy with the improvement over the standard light units. I think I'll go down the route of the Rdx relay.
