Work Lamp Remote Switch?
Is it possible to rig up a work lamp that can be controlled remotely by something like a key fob switch as well as a std switch?

My £14 after market alarm has a remote start function, I've wired this up to the work lamp relay so the start up button turns the work lamp on instead. Works a treat and the standby energy consumption doesn't even register on my watts up. I also wired it up so somebody sets my alarm off, the 18w LED work lamp flashes instead of the indicators, this draws much more attention Twisted Evil

These tons of cheap chinese controllers on ebay and amazon.. just search for 12v wireless switch, but remember they don't support high current, even LED lamps are too high - you need a relay for the lamp and have the receiver to control the relay instead Thumbs Up
