It will be easiest and cheapest to buy one of the cheap kits off ebay. I think hawk are the usual make. Finding all the genuine parts will probably cost a small fortune.

It can be done.
Correct 10AS unit (Expensive new, so search ebay, breaker etc) Loom between B posts for rear doors. A b ch to extract so purchase new. Bulkhead loom ( extract the wiring inc. switch plugs etc concerning CDL ) Actuators x4 ) Door looms) These last two are best found from a breaker. By doing the above its just plug and play and easier to check if there are any issues in the future. Remember its been tested by Land Rover in many vehicles. Do electric windows at the same time... |

A non-central locking 10AS can easily be modified to operate central locking.
Either, by soldering the correct NEC relay to the circuit board, or by soldering wires to the pads that would trigger the NEC relay, and running them to external relays. The wiring from the 10AS to the front doors can easily be added as an overlay harness, as can the wiring to the 2nd row and tail doors, if required. The wiring for electric windows can also be added as an overlay harness - either, separately, or as part of a combined central locking/electric windows harness. Door harnesses can be difficult to find from breakers - they used to be fairly reasonably priced to buy new. . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |

Any 10as will be able to do central lock and alarm. You need the Nec ep23n1s relay.
Open the green box up n solder it onto the pcb n you are looking at pin 2 and 3 for the lock unlock drive. Oh you'll need a nano com or similar to set the parameters. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island. |
