United Kingdom 2005 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Alveston Red
So I changed the pulley using one described as OEM and it stopped the chirp on start and switch off. However it did nothing for the vibration I was experiencing. I had a look today and put a screwdriver between the pulley and the damper and prised a bit and saw that the pulley moved slightly in relation to the front of the engine. I take it that this is not normal? Confused

It will move a bit because the two halves of the pulley are held together with rubber but as long as it's not excessive it's probably not your problem. Ray
