This is probably very well known in entomological circles and among Grateful Dead fans but not common knowledge among Land Rover fans so I thought I'd rectify the situation.
In 1987 an entomologist who was fond of the Grateful Dead, named a fly "Dicrotendipes thanato-gratus". It appears that the specific name combines the Greek word for "dead" and the Latin word for "grateful". Now you know. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |
