2008 Defender 110 BMW M57 3.0 Diesel XS CSW Auto Santorini Black

Dislocated front spring

Im running Alive -1 springs on the front of my 110 with Bilstein B6 shocks. I noticed the other day that I have a bit of a lean. On closer inspection I've found that one of the front springs is not seating properly on the bottom mount. Bearing in mind that I haven't been off road since springs were fitted I'm wondering how it's popped out and whether I need some bottom spring retainers from someone like Gwyn Lewis.

Should this be necessary? 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

how much movement is there

if you jack body up (not axle ) will the spring drop down enough to drop out

maybe you need shorter shockers ?

I'll jack it up in a bit. I'm a bit frustrated as they've been on there for a year and I have a feeling you're right and I bought standard length shocks
