The wires will be broken inside its insulation, inside the boot. You will need to play with wires or give them a real good pull, to find which one is broken. Very very common. I always extend wires when repairing and put new joints in post and other in door, so the new joints aren't going to be flexed.

Thanks for speedy response! I guess my next question is then how do I determine which wire is for the drivers window?

Rustyboxx had an offside windows on his landy that didn't work, took us about an hour to fix. As stated door card off, tug on the cables entering the boot and carry out the repair before and after the boot by splicing in a new length. A cable rod would be handy to feed the new length through the boot and some good quality hermitically sealed splices. Three cables for the window from the motor red, blue and black all will become clear once the door card is off. Good luck.

I don't even remove door card (due to clips always breaking), I just release the boot at each end and give the cables a good pull, or operate window whilst waggling one or other wire. The wires are the two thick ones. You can often see a dark section on the cables insulation where it's been arcing.
