I put the genuine LR one piece rubber mat in mine, very easy to fit and works well.

I do have the full width LR rubber liner which only goes so far and if you are going for the mud side panels, there is quite an area exposed to the odd pointy object which would leave a nasty 'inside-out' dent on the wing.
To overcome this, I lined the rear tub with silent coat sound insulation, topped with closed cell foam which has made the world of difference to the road noise and general 'boominess'. I am planning on going over the silver finish (foam was insulated with a reflective coat) with some adhesive carpet in black to make it slightly less 'garish'. This has the added effect of providing a cushioned lining to the panels and protects them from anything which might cause damage! Phil |

That's my main concern, is there any chance if you could upload some pictures of the back of your landy please? |

Frost's sell a rubberized paint called, Bedliner Truck Bed Coating.
Would be nice to here if anyone has any experience of it, as I'm undecided which to use for my Defender pickup, rubber matting or this paint. |

The silver stuff is closed cell sticky back foam
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8m-x1m-THERMOLIN...655480895? The material is acoustic covering. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5M-X-1-4M-Car-Va...2ecda2c874 The material is stuck on with heavy duty spay glue that carpet fitters use. The whole job took about a day. |
