United Kingdom 2006 Defender 90 Td5 PU Epsom Green
Tyre hunting........
I am going to view a 90 pick up this Saturday with an intention to buy if it is ok. It is fitted with the standard Land Rover white steel wheels with the usual road tyres (7.50x16, I think). I offroad my vehicle regularly and need mud terrains.
Does anyone have any experience of using the Michelin XZL mud tyre (looks like the old BFG pattern)? How do they handle and wear?
Does anyone know where I can get a set of 4 or 5 of these at a decent price? I saw them going at AJS for £93 each a while back, but sadly was not planning on getting a 90 at that point, so missed out!! Typical!!

Does anyone with a 90 pick up or non pick up have any experience of fitting any particular size of mud tyre that will improve the ride? I always used 285/75/16 BFG muds for my 110's, but wont be fitting anything that big to my 90 - 265/75/16 will be the biggest.
