LED work lights
Has anyone tried these type of lights?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Pcs-18W-Spot-C...58ba649e5a

For the price they don't look too bad and apparently 1600LM or about 100w according to http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/light/how-lumen-to-watt.htm 1999 Defender TD5 110

No, but bought these and fitted over Xmas. Well made, solid little lights and give a lot of light for their size. Same 18 watt spec.

Very pleased with them, although I can't comment on long term reliability.

Yes, the old 55W round work lights. These are brighter and draw a third of the power. Just plugged into the same wiring.

Excossack - Yes i have these mounted; 2 on the rear and 2 on the sides, they are very good, look tough and are very adjustable, definitely recommend them.

yep, i have brought 4 more since for putting on our digger, and although i got them from two different suppliers they are all the same, so i reckon that people are selling the ones that the ch1nks will send over, theyre probably made in the same factory! Rolling Eyes

Bell Auto Services, John if I remember correctly.

7 years ago you picked me up from York Station and sold be your Defender. The pictures posted by me above are your old car.

It's still going strong. If you want any feedback on the various performance upgrades you made to the engine/turbo etc or do a long term test review on them I would be very happy to let you have a look at it again.

Cheers chaps. I think 2 will be on order shortly with a view to some more for the side and maybe a pair of 7" ones for the front instead of the 4 55w oblong ones I have now

These look they should ARB on the logo
