I've used the body shop that is directly behind the dealer (presume its still there, it was a few years ago) - go direct to them, I think they are Land Rover approved - they did a great job on my old RR Sport

I've a few stories about them - attention to detail is not their thing - but then isn't it the same with most main dealers?
I went in there looking for a RRS TDV8. Salesman said he would look out for one and let me know if anything was available. He never did, I had to find it myself at one of their other branches and arrange for them to bring it over to look at. Bodyshop did some repair work after I was shunted from behind. Floor mats had a metal insert in them. They managed to bend it and tried to sikaflex it back in without telling me. Cubby box insert went missing and it was an argument to get it replaced. When I wanted to swap it for the facelifted model, I went back there again. Same story - they did not contact me & I swapped it out at Armstong Massey in York. Went in to buy a Defender, got a test drive, I said I'd think about the numbers and salesman never rang me back. Bought Defender from Stratstones in Doncaster. Took Defender in for some warranty work and they took the tailgate off and when refitting decided to leave all the nuts and washers off the restraining cable. |
